The Central Instrumentation Laboratory is established for the students, research scholars and teachers of the university who are actively engaged in R&D activities in the emerging areas of science, technology & engineering. The CIL is presently having sophisticated instruments like-Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer (400MHz), UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Lyophilizer, Microwave Synthesizer, Microwave Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometer (MP-AES), Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), Mass Spectrometer:- Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS QTOF) etc. The process for procurement of other sophisticated instruments is in progress. These instruments are generally used to pursue R & D activities by our University Teaching Departments, other academic/research Institute/Universities and Industries.

  • The analytical data/spectra are provided only for research and development purpose. These cannot be used as certificates in legal disputes.
  • 2. The charges are payable in advance through online through university website http://www.gjuonline.ac.in
  • Samples and payment should be sent preferably in the same cover. Separate samples should be sent for different analysis. Samples will not be analyzed until payment is received.
  • Radioactive material, unstable and explosive compounds are not accepted for analysis.
  • Research fellows and students are advised to send their application/proforma and samples through Supervisor and Head/Chairperson of Department concerned.
  • It is also desirable that analysis work done using CIL facilities should be acknowledged in the publication/theses and a note in this regard may kindly be sent to CIL.
